Mike is currently a graduate student at Seattle University working toward a Master’s Degree in Psychology. He developed his love for counseling while working as a field instructor for a wilderness therapy program. He is devoted to helping at-risk teenagers and adults, as he has found this to be incredibly rewarding. In addition to studying, Mike is an avid mountaineer and alpine climber. He enjoys other sports, including disc golfing, rafting, tennis, and bicycling. Travelling is Mike's other passion. He has travelled in 24 countries around the world and is currently planning a bicycle trip through South America. His family, which is now spread throughout the western United States is very dear to him. He enjoys the wild times they have when they get together. They have all served as an inspiration in his growth and development, and he is very grateful.
