Michael has been working in the human services field for several years. He has been a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician as well as a T-ball and soccer coach. Michael also spent fourteen years in law enforcement before a career ending injury forced him to give up that career in search of something else. Michael earned his Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Mt. St. Mary College and his Master’s Degree in community counseling from Marist College. Michael has been married for fifteen years to his wife Kimberly and has two wonderful daughters, Kayla and Courtney.
Since coming into this field he has gained a lot of knowledge and experience taking on substantial projects such as the Manhattan borough coordinator for Project Liberty for the NYC Department of education helping to design, implement and monitor psychological programs to aid the school children effected by September 11th, 2001. Michael has also worked on two Assertive Community Treatment Teams where they would go into the community and bring psychological and psychiatric services to the client in the community.
