| Linda has safely and effectively been transporting
adolescents since 1998. She has transported students to Residential
Treatment Centers, Wilderness Programs, as well as Therapeutic
Boarding Schools. She has had the experience of working in a residential
treatment center, Youth Care Inc., as a Mental Health Worker and
in a Transitional Independent Living Program, North Star Center,
as a Residential Counselor. Her experience in these positions
has provided invaluable on the job training that has assisted
her in becoming a decisive decision maker, as well as an excellent
communicator. In addition, her many years in administration and
management of employees has assisted her in dealing with diverse
backgrounds and personalities. Linda is an excellent trouble shooter,
a persuasive leader and a team player. Some of her other talents
are the able to quickly establish rapport with adolescents and
she is versed in the art of de-escalation during critical situations.
She is certified in non-violent crisis intervention, MAB (Management
of Assault Behaviors), as well as CPR and First Aid. One of the
reasons that Linda decided to get into the profession of assisting
adolescents is her personal experience with her own recovery.
She believes adolescents that receive education and assistance
early in their lives have a better chance of long term sobriety.
Currently Linda is working on her Drug and Alcohol Certification.
She has a long-term goal of completing this certification and
becoming a drug and alcohol counselor. In her off time Linda enjoys
golfing, fishing and traveling.
