| Laura Nunn holds a BA in Sociology from Western
Kentucky University and gained additional valuable education from
extensive traveling. Laura has worked with adolescents and special
populations in a variety of challenging settings. As a volunteer
for the National Sports Center for the Disabled, Laura led clients
on day and overnight cross-country ski trips in Colorado. While
enjoying the many benefits of living in Moab, UT, Laura ran whitewater
rafting trips for SPLORE. Which is a non-profit organization dedicated
to providing therapeutic recreation to special populations. Her
experience with SPLORE taught Laura to remain calm and focused
in extremely stressful situations. Laura has developed and practiced
her non-violent crisis intervention skills while teaching students
with autism and behavioral disorders and while working as a field
instructor for a wilderness therapy program. Laura lives in Boulder,
Colorado and is preparing to enroll in a Master's degree at Southwestern
University in Santa Fe, New Mexico beginning in the Fall of 2007.
