Khalia was born in Brooklyn, NY but has lived in several cities including Tallahassee, FL where she attended Florida A&M University. As a full time student Khalia was focused on obtaining her degree in Public Relations however, she still found time to mentor children at a local elementary school near her university. Upon graduation Khalia moved back to New York City where she again found herself working with at risk adolescents, providing them with supportive counseling and career readiness. Khalia enjoys working with adolescents as she feels she can easily relate to them in age and experience.
