| Jon grew up on a farm in a small Upstate New
York town called Morrisville, located thirty miles southeast of
Syracuse. The second to the youngest out of six children, Jon
started a career in the US Coast Guard in 1991. After becoming
a Federal Law Enforcement officer in 1993, Jon was working in
the NY City area when he started working part time for Queens
Services for Autistic Children (QSAC). Jon left the Coast Guard
in 2000 and started working as a Operations Manager for an Early
Intervention Center. Jon says no matter what job he does, he tends
to always find one on the side that pertains to helping kids.
He states that helping our children for the future is one of the
most important things one can do. Now Jon resides in New York
City with his wife of twelve years and his two sons. He now is
a recording artist with a contemporary Christian band And also
volunteers with the NYPD where he serves as a member of the Board
of Directors and Patrol Coordinator for the Civilian Observation
Program.
