Robert (Bobby) grew up in Northern California, living in a mountain community where he learned to both love and respect the outdoors. After high school Bobby sought employment in the medical field to fulfill a desire to help those in need of physical rehabilitation. After four years of service as a rehab assistant his love for the outdoors brought about a course change in Bobby’s life. This is where began service as a sawyer on a wildland firefighting hand crew with the U.S. Forest service. A few years later Bobby found himself back in health care working in an acute rehabilitation hospital working with patients afflicted with traumatic injuries like spinal cord damage, stroke, or joint damage. With the help of Bobby and his crew their patients would relearn activities of daily living such as things like walking, grooming and eating. Bobby’s spare time is filled with outdoor activities and being actively involved in various charities, The Relay for Life and the American Heart Association to name a couple. Bobby also donates his time to help elderly couples around there homes with the daily chores and whatever should come about that they can't handle on there own. Bobby is as tough as the mountains he grew up in but as gentle as a Teddy bear.
