Terri F. Interventionist
Terri was born and raised in the “fast-paced” lifestyle of Charlotte, North Carolina, along with three older brothers. Terri quickly learned that to be considered an equal, she had to keep up with her active brothers, which she did very well. Terri is very active to this day in many different sports and outdoor activities. She credits her overall fitness to her appreciation for exercise and a healthy lifestyle. Terri currently resides in Western North Carolina where, in addition to her work with Right Direction, she has been working hard to grow and expand her family's business. Terri has enjoyed working for Right Direction for the last five months and honesty feels the teenagers she works with sharpen her communication skills, while reminding her of the struggles we each face daily. Terri believes strongly in the connection between our natural environment and ability to expand the human experience. She has worked in college with 17- and 18-year-old students in a wilderness experience program, preparing them for the challenges they were about to face, meeting new people and learning to accept each other's differences. When she manages a few hours of free time here and there, Terri tries to hit the beautiful mountain trails located all around Asheville, North Carolina, enjoying a little exercise with her dog, Vini, and digging in her garden.
