Tenisha H. Interventionist
Tenisha has worked with children for 11 years now while attending high school and during her undergraduate degree. Tenisha obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology in Connecticut. Tenisha loves to work with kids in all aspects of their lives as they develop into young adults. During her studies she volunteered numerous times in different non-profit agencies working with teens in residential services as well as after school helping, and she completed an internship with the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center. Since her graduation, she has worked in the public school system working with high school and junior high students. Tenisha is now working on her Master's Degree in Human Services at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. She is also currently working in a private special education school helping children ages 9-21. Tenisha also works as a private tutor, primarily specializing in reading, writing, and study skills with children from K through grade 12. Tenisha recently dedicated a few hours a week to work specifically with troubled teens in New Haven County in Connecticut, implementing behavioral management plans and assisting with therapeutic support services. Tenisha is engaged to her fiancé, Jason, who she has shared a relationship with for nine years. Tenisha enjoys all recreational sports and loves to shop as it is a great stress reliever. She loves to spend time with her family and do activities together as they are a very close-knit group.
