Sandra C. Interventionist
Sandra recently graduated from New Jersey City University located in Jersey City, NJ. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Sociology-Family and Youth Services. She is currently working as a child care provider and nursery school worker. Sandra has volunteer experience as a mentor/role model working with troubled children who have experienced neglect, abuse, trouble or isolation in a program called VIPS-Volunteers in Protective Services. Sandra was also part of Peer And Leadership Support team during her high school years in which she dedicated time mentoring young individuals as well. She has learned to provide friendship, support, and guidance to youth of all ages. She has also gained experience on how to enhance self-esteem, reinforce positive behavior and provide help with personal growth in young individuals. Sandra looks forward to pursuing a Master's Degree in Social Work in the near future and is also working toward a certification to become a future Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor for the State of New Jersey. Sandra enjoys attending spin classes and exercise as it is a great stress minimizer. She also loves to spend time with her family, especially her niece and nephew who motivate her to become a better individual. Sandra has a positive outlook on life and believes life experiences, either good or bad, are lessons in becoming the best individual possible.
