Samisoni L. Interventionist
Samisoni Samisoni (Soni) is married and has two very energetic boys. He was born and raised in the Island of Tonga, and in December of 2004, he moved to the United States. Mountain View, CA is home for his family for now, and he loves it there. Soni graduated with an Associates of Art Degree in Social Science from Foothill College and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice of Administration from California State University of East Bay. He is currently working for the City of Palo Alto Recreation Department specifically with the Middle School sporting programs and also serves as Head Volleyball Coach for the Peninsula Juniors Volleyball Club Girls U-16. Soni has been working with at-risk adolescents/adults since 2006 and has gained a great compassion towards these adolescents/adults. He has been working with youth since 1998 as a coach for rugby, volleyball, basketball and track & field. Soni has worked as a Teacher’s Aide for special education students at a high school here in the states and as a substitute teacher in the islands. He has worked as a camp organizer and counselor for kids of all ages in several summer programs. Soni hopes that the youth he works with realize that his goal is to help and guide them to a better and brighter future that they deserve.
