Right Direction Crisis Intervention

Interventionists

Robin W. Interventionist
Robin Robin grew up north of San Francisco in the small ranching and tourist town of Point Reyes Station. Growing up next to a national park, backpacking its many trails, was his first introduction to a life committed to living and leading others into relationship with themselves and the great outdoors. He graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in International Political Economy which inspired him to focus on the importance of education, engagement and personal responsibility as the most important avenue for change in the world. Out of the university, he worked in the wilderness therapy industry making his way from assistant guide to senior guide and finally to field manager for two different companies. He has always thrived in supporting others in service in their moments of hardship and crisis and has extensive experience working with at-risk youth and their families in these situations. Robin is committed to crisis intervention because he believes that there are not enough responsible and upright role models for young people today. He is certified in crisis de-escalation, and he has a WFR in first aid training. In his free time, Robin enjoys backpacking, rock climbing, hunting, baseball and cooking.
