She also completed two studies abroad throughout college: living and studying in Marbella, Spain and Queretero, Mexico. She also became involved in health and fitness after being diagnosed with pre-diabetic conditions in college. Malia currently sits on the Board of "Evolving Women", which is an association of women in the therapeutic treatment industry that offers mentoring, support and educational opportunities to women in the field of mental health. Although she helps out in the Right Direction office with management and training, she loves being out on transports working with teens, their families and other RDCI Interventionists. In her spare time, Malia enjoys spending time with her husband and her two young daughters, constantly lining up daily adventures or travel adventures for she and her family.
