Jonathan B. Interventionist
Jonathan is from Houston, Texas. He graduated from the University of Vermont with a major in Animal Science with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary medicine and obtained a minor in Psychology. He declined to attend veterinary school, deciding it was not for him. After graduation, he obtained his Texas Real Estate License, worked in commercial real estate, and then proceeded to work as an estimator for a natural gas pipeline contractor. After not being satisfied with his work, he decided he wanted to do more with helping people, especially those addicted to controlled substances. Four years ago, after undergoing many surgeries, he experienced, first-hand, an addiction to painkillers. Seeing as it destroyed friendships, relationships, and trust with his family, he took matters into his own hands and has been sober since February 23, 2007. He is currently applying to get his License for Chemical Dependency Counseling and believes his new found calling in life is helping others with problems of addiction, anger, and other issues facing today’s teenagers and young adults. He hopes to obtain a Master’s in this area of work. Jonathan is outgoing, friendly, but very serious when it comes to work. He will be a great asset to the team.
