John A. Interventionist
John (a.k.a. Boston) was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. John has spent most of his life working in the field of law enforcement, first as Military Policeman in the Navy and the Army Reserves. After his service, John moved to Miami where he worked with the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the Florida Prison system. John also attended the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy in Georgia to further his career. John has also spent time working as a private bodyguard for such people as Ted Kennedy, Barbara Bush, Madonna, and Sylvester Stallone where he was on Mr. Stallone's private residence staff. Upon leaving Miami, John settled in Denver, Colorado working with the Colorado Department of Corrections, eventually transferring over to the Department of Youth Corrections and is currently working at a Youth Treatment Center in the foothills just outside Denver. John is a certified instructor for Crisis Prevention Intervention, CPR and First Aid. He is also trained in PPCT (Pressure Point Control Tactics) and de-escalating skills. He has safely transported many inmates and youth over the years of working in corrections. John is happily married and has three children, one girl and two boys. He has been with Right Direction for one and a half years and is a Boston Red Sox’s fan. John enjoys spending his free time riding ATV’s, jetskis, and snowmobiles. He has taken up snowboarding and is up for new adventures that come his way. John and his family enjoy all of the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer.
