Interventionists
Gary O. Interventionist
Gary was born and grew up in a small town in Tennessee. He joined the United States Air Force in 1972 and served as a “security police specialist” for five years. He is proud to be an honorably discharged Vietnam-era veteran. Gary attended Middle Tennessee State University after leaving military service. He currently resides in Texas.
He and his wife, Anna, started a small security company in 2007. As Texas Security Services Contractors, they provide corporate, VIP, and family protective services in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas.
Gary and Anna practice the little known martial art Jiulong Baguazhang. This style of “Bagua” is a traditional Chinese kung fu that uses “whole body power” to manipulate and re-direct an opponent’s energy. This is a very powerful art and takes many years to master. They have also studied Tibetan Snake Boxing and Chin-na (locks, throws, and holds).
Gary and Anna taught Texas Parks and Wildlife “Hunter Education/Safety” classes to youths for four years at their local sportsman’s club.
Gary holds credentials as a “Certified Protection Specialist” from Executive Security International (ESI), a “Certified Aggression Control Manager” from the University of South Florida, and a “Gatekeeper Level 3” from the Christian Security Institute (CSI). Gary also has Commissioned Security Officer (CSO), Personal Protection Officer (PPO), Private Investigator (PI), and Qualified Security Manager (QM) registrations issued by the Texas Private Security Bureau.
He is a CPR/AED/BBP First Responder.
Quote from Gary:
- “It takes more than training and education to be an Interventionist. It takes loving kindness applied in copious amounts”. -
