Dan B. Interventionist
Dan grew up in Parma, Ohio, the third of four boys, and has spent the majority of his adult life living in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Communications and a minor in Environmental Science. Dan has worked with adolescents and adults in crisis since he was a young adult himself, and since his employment with Right Direction in 2004, he has personally worked with several hundred families. While Dan enjoys the challenges of working with struggling kids, adults, and families in crisis, his previous career background at a halfway house and as a drug counselor gives him an advantage of being very patient and understanding. He takes great pride in helping others. Dan has formal training in de-escalation and protective restraint techniques, as well as extensive experience mediating high-risk situations. During Dan’s free time you’ll find him enjoying a busy life with his wife, Suzy, and young daughter, Eilee. He also has a passion for playing rugby, camping, hiking, and fishing.
